VFC Homes · Shenandoah Valley
Answer a few questions and watch the number change as you go. Everything here comes from our real local pricing, not a national average.
Labor and site costs vary across the Valley and over the mountain.
All heated living space on the main level. Don't count the basement, garage, porches or decks.
Leave it at zero for a single-story home.
A two-car garage is included. Additional doors add to the cost.
A typical front porch is 100–250 sq ft. A covered back deck is often 200–400.
A slab works on level lots. A full basement adds usable square footage underneath the home.
Unfinished leaves it as storage and mechanical space. Finished makes it heated living space.

This is a ballpark based on our current pricing, not a quote. Your final price depends on your plan, lot survey, selections and site conditions.
Those gaps are where most budgets get surprised, and we'd rather you hear the real numbers up front. We've built all over the Valley and can walk you through what each of these typically runs for a lot like yours, which ones you can skip, and where it makes sense to set aside a contingency. Rock and steep grades are the two that move a budget most, and they depend entirely on the lot. There's no cost or obligation for that conversation.

Prototype note: the form above unlocks the breakdown on screen, but nothing is emailed or saved yet. In the finished version that submission would land in Buildertrend, or wherever you want leads to go.
